My name is Beth Cassese. I am a certified Life Cycle Assessment practitioner (LCACP), certified reviewer (CLAR), and LEED Green Associate with over a decade of experience in sustainability consulting and environmental impact analysis. With a Master’s in Sustainability Systems, I specialize in managing complex LCA and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) projects, from data modeling and reporting to third-party reviews and program oversight.
With extensive experience in the LCA and EPD development across multiple industries in alignment with ISO 14040/44, ISO 14025, ISO 21930, and EN 15804, I bring deep technical expertise to your project.
My work is rooted in rigorous data quality, transparent communication, and delivering actionable insights that help companies meet compliance goals, earn market recognition, and advance sustainability performance.
My Story
My journey in sustainability began in the world of corporate environmental health and safety. What started as a supporting role evolved quickly—I became the go-to person for managing EHS audits, environmental data systems, and sustainability reporting across more than 150 manufacturing sites. Over the years, I took on more strategic roles, eventually leading North American LCA and corporate sustainability initiatives. I coordinated large-scale EPD and LCA efforts, helped shape Product Category Rules (PCRs) with industry groups, and brought sustainability insights to decision-makers at all levels.

Later, I joined a consulting group as an LCA Practitioner and then expanded my role to EPD Program Manager to manage a portfolio of LCA and EPD projects across industries, guiding clients through every phase—from data collection and modeling to critical review and third-party verification. I also conduct third-party reviews myself, applying the same rigor I’ve come to expect from the best in the field. My work is grounded in global standards like ISO 14044, ISO 21930, EN 15804, and ISO 14025. I’m also a certified LCA reviewer, certified LCA practitioner, and LEED Green Associate.

Recently, I transitioned to a more flexible, consulting-focused career, relocating to the coast to align my professional goals with a balanced lifestyle. This shift allowed me to focus more intentionally on the work I’m most passionate about—partnering with organizations to navigate complex sustainability challenges through expert LCA, EPD development, and strategic environmental reporting.

My passion for sustainability extends beyond technical assessments and into the broader mission of protecting natural ecosystems and promoting responsible resource use. I’m especially committed to advancing responsible sourcing practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, ethical supply chains, and long-term resilience. Living near the coast has deepened my connection to ocean conservation, and I actively support efforts to preserve sea turtle habitats and promote biodiversity. For me, sustainability isn’t just a profession—it’s a personal commitment to ensuring that both people and the planet can thrive for generations to come.
